As Denker Electronics (“WEBSITE” or “Company”), we show maximum sensitivity to the security of your personal data. With this awareness, we attach great importance to the processing and preservation of personal data belonging to natural persons with whom the Company interacts, in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”), secondary regulations (regulations, communiqués, circulars) put into effect based on the Law, and the binding decisions taken or to be taken by the Personal Data Protection Board. With full realization of this responsibility, in our capacity as “Data Controller” as defined in the Law, we process your personal data as explained below and within the limits prescribed by the legislation.
1. Information Regarding the Data Controller
In accordance with the Law, Denker Electronics, residing at Kozyatağı Mah. Şehit Mehmet Fatih Öngül Sok. Bağdatlıoğlu Plaza, No:3 Daire 3, 34742 Kadıköy/İstanbul, is the Data Controller.
2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data is processed by the Company within the limits specified in the Law, in accordance with the law and rules of honesty, and always in a connected, limited, and measured manner for the following purposes:
Execution of commercial activities carried out by the Company in accordance with the legislation and Company policies.
Determination, planning, and implementation of the Company’s short, medium, and long-term commercial policies.
Designing and conducting human resources activities.
Fulfillment of obligations arising from relevant legislation.
Management of customer relations and corporate communication processes.
Execution of campaigns and promotions.
Ensuring the commercial and legal security of natural and legal persons with whom the Company has a business relationship.
Recording identity, address, and other necessary information to identify the transaction owner within the scope of Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers, and related regulations.
Organizing all records and documents that will be the basis for transactions in payment systems, electronic contracts, or paper environments mandatory in the field of Banking and Electronic Payments.
Complying with information storage, reporting, and disclosure obligations stipulated by the legislation and other authorities.
Providing information to public prosecutors, courts, and relevant public officials upon request and in accordance with the legislation regarding matters related to public safety and legal disputes.
3. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be transferred within the framework of the purposes mentioned above and in accordance with the conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law to:
Legally authorized public institutions, judicial and administrative authorities.
Private legal entities and natural persons permitted by other legislation.
Institutions and organizations authorized to audit the Company.
Contracted payment institutions for the fulfillment of payments and financial obligations.
Business partners from whom services are received or with whom cooperation is made for the execution and development of Company activities.
Solution partners providing our e-commerce infrastructure.
Cargo companies for product delivery to customers and, only when necessary, to the Company’s suppliers, by taking the data security measures specified in the Law.
4. Method and Legal Grounds for Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data is collected by authorized units and employees of the Company through automated and non-automated methods, verbally, in writing, or electronically. In this context, data such as:
Name, Surname, TR ID number, Address, Phone, Business or private e-mail address.
Customer preferences on pages logged in with username and password, IP records of transactions performed over the internet, cookie data collected by the browser containing browsing time and details, and location data.
Information obtained from persons who share their personal data via business cards, CVs, or other means for purposes such as establishing a commercial relationship with the WEBSITE, applying for a job, or submitting a proposal.
Data obtained from forms on paper, business cards given to our sales and marketing department employees, branches, suppliers, other sales channels, digital marketing, and call centers.
Data obtained indirectly from different channels such as (micro) websites used for blogs, contests, surveys, games, campaigns, and similar purposes, social media, e-bulletin reading or clicking movements, data provided by public databases, and profile information open to sharing from social media platforms.
This data is processed based on the legal grounds that: (i) it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, (ii) it is mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation, (iii) it has been made public by the data subject themselves, and (iv) data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the Company, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.
5. Rights of Data Subjects Under the Law
You may apply to Denker Electronics at any time to exercise your rights to:
Learn whether your personal data is processed or not.
Request information if your personal data has been processed.
Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose.
Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred at home or abroad.
Request rectification of your personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed.
Request the erasure or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the Law.
Object to the occurrence of a result against you by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems.
Request compensation for damages in case of loss due to unlawful processing of personal data.
